Novak Djokovic seems to have already concluded his 2024 campaign, despite the fact that he is getting closer to making it to the ATP Finals in Turin.
With the top eight players earning a spot in the prestigious end-of-season finals in Italy, the former world No. 1 is currently ranked sixth in this year’s ATP Race rankings.
Last year, Djokovic won the ATP Finals for a record-tying seventh time, but he has stated that he has little hope of making it this year.
Djokovic said after playing for Serbia in the Davis Cup in September: “Torino is not my goal at all; to be honest, I am not chasing ATP Finals; I am not chasing the rankings. As far as I am concerned, I am done with those tournaments for my career. Whether I will play in other tournaments this year or in the future, I can’t say right now. My main priorities are playing for the national team and slams; everything else is less important.”
Djokovic may not be interested in spending a week in Turin and participating in all the promotional and publicity activities players must do before the tournament, especially since he is losing interest in competing in events other than the Grand Slams or the Davis Cup for Serbia.
Recent photos of the 24-time Grand Slam champion sitting on Maldives beaches seem to indicate that he won’t be playing in 2024.

LWWWWWWLWW Ranked no.4, Djokovic played his last match on the 13th of October when he surrendered to world no.1 Jannik Sinner 7-6(4) 6-3 in the final in Shanghai (draw).
At present, during this year the Serbian has achieved a compiled 37-9 record. The Serbian conquered 1 title in Paris. Djokovic reached the final in Wimbledon and Shanghai.
