Kei Nishikori has a rather bleak record in term of conceding matches because of injuries. Kei has recently retired from Wimbledon, but that wasn’t an isolated case. In fact, the Japanese no.1 has retired already 21 times in his career, and he knows that he need to find a solution to this.
Why I am struggling with my body. NISHIKORI
During a recent interview, Kei commented “The Tour is very tough. You can’t get much time to train and rest.
I have to take care of my body. When you play top guys, you have to play very intense games, and your body gets more damage.
I think I am getting a lot of experience playing those guys, so hopefully I will have fewer injuries.”
Kei will now try to get ready for the American summer and the Olympic Games. Let’s see if he manage to get the right fitness.
