Watson, Kontinen win the mixed doubles in Wimbledon

This year the British tennis is busy celebrating the win of Andy Murray in the men singles. Actually, there is some more as Heather Watson won the mixed doubles after partnering with Henri Kontinen.

Soon after Andy Murray’s triumph, Heather and Henri won the final against Robert Farah and Anna-Lena Gronefeld 7-6 (5) 6-4.

From Watson

Heather commented “I couldn’t have picked anybody better to share this experience with than Henri. We just had so much fun and that’s why we played well together.

We all want to win, but it is important to enjoy it. Our personalities are pretty laid back, and we like to have a good time.”
