Nick Kyrgios and Rafael Nadal will clash in what is going to be one of the most exciting 2nd rounds of Wimbledon.
Nick defeated Nadal during a heated 2nd round in Acapulco earlier this year using all his “techniques” and that wasn’t appreciated by the King of Clay that blasted at Kyrgios during the following press conference labeling the Australian as disrespectful.
Later in May, it was time for Kyrgios to blast back at Nadal saying during a controversial podcast that Nadal is a “salty loser.”
The draw in Wimbledon was putting both players on a collision path and therefore journalists asked Nadal about Kyrgios and the Spaniard dismissed the question saying that he doesn’t know the Australian.

After Kyrgios’ win against his friend Jordan Thompson, the Australian was asked about his personal relationship with Nadal.
When asked if he wanted to know better the Spaniard, Nick replied
“I am not sure that me and Rafa could go down to the Dog & Fox and have a beer together. I don’t know him at all. I know him as a tennis player.
I just don’t, I don’t know him very well. I don’t know what you want me to say to the question. It’s a very strange question.
Yeah, 100%. That’s just how it is. I get along with people, some people I don’t get along with.”
When asked if he gets along with Nadal, Kyrgios answered: “I mean, we have mutual respect, but that’s about it I think.”

The head to head is 3-all, but Kyrgios leads 1-0 on grass after he defeated Nadal 5 years ago in the 4th round in Wimbledon.
