On the women’s side, Egypt’s rising talents Mora Hakin and Laila El Memr were joined by Spanish ace Marta Ortega (no. 7 FIP) and Portugal’s Sofia Araujo (no. 9 FIP), who produced thrilling matches that emphasized the spirit of rivalry and friendship.
