Recently, Caroline Garcia announced an early season finale, citing exhaustion from panic and anxiety attacks. Due to poor form this year, the French former world No. 4 is currently ranked 36th in the WTA rankings.
In addition to the shoulder injury that has been preventing her from moving forward, Garcia disclosed on X that her mental health had suffered.
Following her defeat at the US Open, the 30-year-old had previously shared on social media the hurtful messages she had received, describing them as damaging.
Recently, she posted lovely pictures on X celebrating her 31st birthday with her boyfriend and friends. By looking at the images, it seems she was very overjoyed and excited with her company.
She wrote: “I couldn’t have thought of the best way to celebrate my birthday! Friends, a beautiful hike and an amazing dinner & evening at the Heritage Telfair with my fiancé. Thank you so much for the amazing hospitality. Now time to enjoy the last days of holidays, and after, time to get ready for 2025.”
