Roger Federer was gifted with a great draw in Wimbledon. Even if the Maestro was unlucky in falling in Djokovic’s half, the Swiss had a fantastic path till the final four because all the projected opponents are great players, but not specialists on grass.
Roger projected path is
1st Pella;
2nd Berankis;
3rd Dolgopolov;
4th Monfils/Simon;
¼ Nishikori/Cilic;
½ Djokovic
Roger has reached the Wimbledon final in the last two years (he lost to Djokovic on both occasions). Federer is bidding for his 8th title at the Championships.

I think that this draw is almost perfect for Roger. He has no dangerous players on grass till the semifinal and I would put my money more on Murray then Djokovic on this Wimbledon. In addition, it is quite possible that to win this Wimby, Roger has to beat both Djokovic and Murray, so being in Novak`s half is not a big nightmare.
