Mahut defends his title in ‘s-Hertogenbosch

Nicolas Mahut wins his 4th career title in ‘s-Hertogenbosch after beating Muller in the final 6-4 6-4 in 76 minutes. The Frenchman is a grass court specialist: Nicolas has won his titles only on grass (3 in ‘s-Hertogenbosch and 1 in Newport), and he has reached two finals also on grass (Newport and Queens).

Nicolas commented “Playing a final is always special, but this was different. Getting the trophy is the most important thing. Winning the tournament as the World No. 1 in doubles is really special. I started the match really well and tried to relax. I know winning a title doesn’t happen every week.”

Next stop London where Mahut has to play Murray at Queens.
