Why things went very well in Stuttgart. FEDERER

Roger Federer lost a rather ugly semifinal in Stuttgart against Dominic Thiem. The Swiss Maestro was defeated after squandering two match points: one with a volley and another one on his serve in the second et tiebreak. Eventually, Roger ended up losing the match 3-6 7-6 (7) 6-4, but he wasn’t that sad about that.

Federer. I am still happy

Roger commented “Things went surprisingly well this week. Conditions were very fast, so that’s why you saw a lot of tie-breaks, lots of close matches. I probably didn’t serve my very best, and I need to cut down on some mistakes in my game, but that comes down to not playing a lot.”

Then Roger added “I want to be in a position to talk more about my matches, rather than the way that I am training coming back from injury. I’m happy that it is in the past, and I am looking forward to the second half of the season.”

Roger will now head to Halle where he will try to win his 9th title, hoping that things get really really well.

Do you think Federer had a good week in Stuttgart?
