The more coaches you have, the better it is. This seems to be the new philosophy in pro tennis. Milos Raonic has just added John McEnroe as his 3rd coach alongside Piatti and Moya, and now it is time for Wawrinka to add 1996 Wimbledon champion Richard Krajicek to his team.

Wawrinka. I’m always looking to improve

Stan released his comments on Twitter “As I’m always looking to improve on court, I would like to take this opportunity to announce that I have added Richard Krajicek to my existing coaching staff to help during the grass court season for the next four weeks.

Magnus, Yannick and I are really excited about the new addition to our team – adding a former Wimbledon champion can only further my knowledge and understanding of the grass. It’s a real privilege and honor to add such a champion to my corner.”

Stan will start his grass campaign at Queens.

Is this a good move for Wawrinka?

Great move. I have always felt that Wawrinka was missing something at the net, Krajicek can definitely help with that. Also he has a vast experience gained from his runs on grass
