Karolina Pliskova motors past Kiki Bertens 6-1 6-2 in the semifinal in Eastbourne on Friday after playing a fantastic match to come up against Angelique Kerber in the final.

1st set.

Pliskova didn’t want to give any chance to the opposition at the beginning of the set after breaking Bertens in the 2nd game (2-0) before consolidating her break and lead 3-0. The Czech increased her lead later on after breaking the Dutch in the 6th (5-1) game before winning the set (6-1).

2nd set.

Karolina in this set was much better than Bertens as she won the set 6-2 after breaking Bertens in the 3rd (2-1) and in the 5th (4-1) game.
