Healthy Federer happy to play in Stuttgart

Roger Federer is looking forward to coming back on tour. The Swiss sensation had to skip the Roland Garros to recover from his back problems and now he feels he is fully fit to compete in Germany.

Federer. My back is good again…

Roger commented “I feel much better again. It’s been a good last three weeks. No setbacks. My back’s good again. I feel much stronger. I was pretty fragile three weeks ago.”

… about missing the Roland Garros

Roger also explained why it was a good move to skip the French Open “It was much better for me to look forward to the rest of the season, rest of my life, really. I didn’t want to have setback after setback and injure myself maybe further. In hindsight, that was definitely the right decision.”

Roger will start his grass season in Stuttgart where he will play either #nextgen Taylor Fritz or a qualifier in the opener.

TIME TO BE HAPPY AGAIN?
