Aryna Sabalenka has come a long way, going from feeling insecure confidence to gaining confidence through her dedication both on and off the court. She first displayed her confidence in an interview from December 2023. In a discussion about her objectives for the 2024 campaign, Sabalenka declared that she would do everything in her power to capture a few more major titles.
It is well known that Sabalenka has struggled for a long time to control her emotions during matches. She did, however, appear to be approaching her goals with a slightly different appearance this year—more calm and collected.
Sabalenka won three titles this year, including two Grand Slam victories. This year, she rose to the occasion, and her bold strategy may have contributed to her success. She used to believe that if she didn’t win her matches, bad things would happen to her.
Later on, these thoughts caused her to feel extra pressure and frustration. But since then, Sabalenka’s life has taken a significant turn for the worse.
She talked about it recently and said: “Nowadays I’m just, you know, working hard; I’m trying to improve myself every day. Every time I’m on the court, I’m trying to give my best. If you give your best, you won’t win the match, okay? You learn, and you try better next time.”
She added: “But also, I mean, in the past I had a lot of difficult things to face. After you face certain things, you realize it’s just a sport. Okay, if you’re not going to win this match, what happens? Nobody is going to die. You’re not going to die. It’s okay. You’re going to go to another tournament, and you’re going to try your best in the next one.”

LWWWWWWWWW Now the world no.2, Sabalenka achieved a 48-11 match record in 2024. Sabalenka is currently having a run in Beijing where she overcame Unknown Player bye, the world no.187 Mananchaya Sawangkaew 6-4 6-1 and the world no.68 Ashlyn Krueger 6-2 6-2.
Aryna Sabalenka will compete against the world no.450 Petra Kvitova in the final on Saturday at 6:00 pm on CENTRE COURT. Their record is 3-2 for Kvitova.
Aryna has won 3 titles in 2024 at the Australian Open, Cincinnati and U.S. Open. The Belarussian got to the final in Brisbane (Brisbane International), in Madrid (Mutua Madrid Open) and in Rome (Internazionali BNL d’Italia).
