In a surprising turn of events, Simona Halep has announced her early return to competitive tennis. The former world No. 1 revealed she’s feeling better than expected and will be flying to Hong Kong tomorrow to compete in the 125 tournament, rather than waiting for the WTA 250 event later in October.

“I’m ready sooner than I thought,” Halep shared with excitement, marking her swift recovery. This appearance will be her first in months as she aims to regain her form and climb back up the rankings.

Halep’s fans are eagerly anticipating her return to the court, hopeful to see the Romanian star back in action after her recent setbacks.
