Andy Murray reaches his first French Open final after beating the defending champion, Stan Wawrinka, in 4 sets. The match against the Swiss was not that tricky for Murray that was in his best form. After winning the first two sets without much struggle, Andy had to bow in the 3rd after being broken in the last game. In the fourth set, the Scotsman broke Wawrinka twice without conceding any break point. The final result was 6-4 6-2 4-6 6-2.
Murray. I am extremely proud
During the on-court interview, Murray commented “I’m extremely proud. I never expected to reach the final here. I’d always struggled on the clay and then in the past two years I’ve had some of my best results. I hope I can put on a good match for the crowd on Sunday.
I knew today if I wanted to win I was going to have to play one of my best clay-court matches. Stan’s record here the past two years has been unbelievable. He was playing better every match here. I played one of my best matches today. I’m looking forward to the final now.”
The final vs. Djokovic
Murray will play Novak Djokovic for the title of what is going to be a rematch of this year’s Australian Open final. The head to head is 23-10 for Nole that leads Andy 4-1 on clay. The good point for Murray is that he defeated Djokovic in their last encounter on the dirt 20 days ago in the final in Rome.
Game on!

10TH SLAM FINAL FOR ANDY |
I think Murray can win this one. Djokovic is still too obsessed, and Andy is feeling quite well. I go for him.
