It is to win the Laver Cup. I’m really happy. We are really, really happy about reaching the goal, winning the Laver Cup,” Alcaraz stated.
He acknowledged how close they came to losing, but credited Alexander Zverev for stepping up and giving him the chance to secure the win. “It’s been a really tough one, I’m gonna say we almost lost but Sascha came with a really good tennis and gave me a chance to win the Laver Cup.”
