Italian tennis star Jannik Sinner has been appointed as the official ambassador for Team26 at the Milan-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics. The announcement, made by the Italian Organizing Committee, marks a homecoming of sorts for Sinner, who grew up skiing in San Candido and Sesto Pusteria before turning his focus to tennis.

During a press conference in Milan, Giovanni Malagò, president of the organizing committee, and Diana Bianchedi, head of Italian Legacy, revealed further details of the program.

“I’m honored to be part of this incredible journey and represent my country,” Sinner shared.

Sinner’s busy schedule includes attending Milan Fashion Week, where he will participate in Gucci’s collection showcase, before returning to tennis to defend his title at the China Open in Beijing on September 26.
