NFL star Travis Kelce, known for his boisterous personality, recently shared his experience attending the US Open final with girlfriend Taylor Swift. Kelce admitted that the typically quiet atmosphere of the tennis match was hard for him to adjust to.

“It’s very quiet and, you know us, when it’s very quiet we want to say something. I’m not a quiet person, I’ve never been a quiet person,” Kelce confessed, reflecting on the unique environment of a tennis final compared to the usual energy of NFL games.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end revealed that he was tempted to heckle Italian tennis star Jannik Sinner, who was competing against his friend, American Taylor Fritz. “The entire time I wanted to heckle the Italian, Jannik Sinner, the number one player in the world. And really try to get in his head to help my guy Fritzy out,” Kelce admitted.

Though the urge was strong, Kelce ultimately decided to remain respectful, understanding that tennis fans wouldn’t appreciate the rowdy behavior. “I played it cool, I played it respectful, knowing that’s kind of frowned upon,” he said.

Kelce jokingly referenced the iconic movie *Happy Gilmore*, imagining a scenario where he might have been asked to leave the event had he given in to the heckling temptation.

In the end, despite the calm and quiet setting, Kelce managed to enjoy his first US Open final, staying true to the event’s traditions while cheering for his friend.
