Alcaraz, Shelton, Pegula and Navarro to play an exhibition match in New York in December

On December 4, Carlos Alcaraz and Ben Shelto will play an exhibition match at Madison Square Garden, while Jessica Pegula and Emma Navarro will also face each other.

Following their career-best Grand Slam performances at the US Open, Jessica Pegula and Emma Navarro will square off in an exhibition match at Madison Square Garden on December 4. Carlos Alcaraz will also play against Ben Shelton.

The Garden Cup lineup was revealed on Thursday. Alcaraz, who captured his first Grand Slam title in 2022 after winning the French Open and Wimbledon this season, was eliminated last month in the second round of the US Open.

Shelton’s best major performance came in last year’s semifinal match in New York, where he was defeated by Frances Tiafoe in the third round.

Pegula advanced to her first Grand Slam final at Flushing Meadows, but on Saturday she fell short against Aryna Sabalenka 7-5, 7-5. Navarro advanced to the US Open semifinals, where she was defeated by Sabalenka after defeating the reigning champion Coco Gauff in the fourth round.
