Elena Rybakina, World No. 4 and 2022 Wimbledon champion, has withdrawn from the upcoming WTA 500 tournament in Seoul following her sudden exit from the US Open and the shocking split with long-time coach Stefano Vukov. The unexpected developments began during the US Open, where Rybakina abruptly ended her second-round match against Jessika Ponchet, citing “injuries” without specifying further details.

Rybakina had earlier made headlines after parting ways with Vukov, with whom she had a five-year partnership. This raised speculation, especially after Vukov was removed from the official WTA coaches list.
