Carlos Alcaraz and former world No. 3 David Ferrer were seen having fun on the hard court with an improvised golf game just before the 2024 Davis Cup in Spain.

Ahead of the 2024 Davis Cup in Spain, Carlos Alcaraz and former world No. 3 David Ferrer were spotted having fun with a makeshift golf game on the hard court. The scene occurred during practice when Ferrer and Alcaraz joyfully embraced each other after hitting the ball to the baseline.

Alcaraz immediately turned his attention to the Davis Cup, in which he participated for the first time since September 2022. Alcaraz, Pedro Martinez, Roberto Bautista Agut, Pablo Carreno Busta, Marcel Granollers, and Captain David Ferrer are the members of Team Spain, which was challenged against Australia, France, and the Czech Republic in Group B.

An X user posted a sweet video of Alcaraz and Ferrer practising their improvised version of golf. It shows the two of them having a good time.

Alcaraz hit the ball from the net to the baseline with a tennis racket under the direction of Captain Ferrer and his coach Juan Carlos Ferrero. Ferrer expertly steered the ball back onto course after initially changing course. Alcaraz and Ferrer celebrated the successful shot with a heartfelt embrace.
