The presence of Jannik Sinner’s girlfriend Anna Kalinskaya added even more richness to his successful campaign in New York as the US Open champion. Despite keeping their relationship mainly private, the tennis couple had some adorable moments over the course of the two weeks.
Kalinskaya, Sinner’s girlfriend and fellow US Open competitor, was a comforting presence during the difficult times. Returning to the US Open, Kalinskaya has much more cause for celebration than just her own campaign.
At the Arthur Ashe Stadium, the rising star in Russian tennis watched her boyfriend win the title for the first time. Though she lost the tournament in the third round, Kalinskaya stayed in New York to cheer on Sinner in every match, and when he raised the trophy, the pair celebrated in style.
She posted a few photos from her US Open campaign on Instagram on Wednesday. This also featured a picture of her collaboration with Katie Boulter, in which the two are seen having fun together.
Kalinskaya wrote: “NYC, thank you for the experience. Next time I come back stronger 🇺🇸.”
The British tennis player replied on the post: “Never laughed so much in my life.”
This brought out Kalinskaya’s sense of humour and showed that she was able to remain composed for both her partner and herself throughout the demanding tennis campaign.

Ranked world no.14 (career-high), Kalinskaya played her last match on the 31st of August when she capitulated to world no.16 Beatriz Haddad Maia 6-3 6-1 in the 3rd round of the U.S. Open (draw).
At present, during this year Anna has managed to achieve a compiled 33-16 match record. Anna Kalinskaya’s best result of the present season was getting to the final in Dubai and Berlin.

At the moment ranked no.1, Jannik played his last match on the 8th of September when he beat world no.7 Taylor Fritz 6-3 6-4 7-5 in the final of the U.S. Open to win his 17th career title.
This season Sinner achieved an overall 55-5 match record. The Italian conquered 6 titles in 2024 at the Australian Open, Rotterdam, Miami, Halle, Cincinnati and U.S. Open.
Sinner is scheduled to play next in Beijing (China Open). He will start from the main draw that will commence on the 23rd of September.
