Nick Kyrgios hits the headlines, no matter what!
The young Australian was meant to have a smooth opener at the Roland Garros against the world no. 124 Marco Cecchinato. Eventually, the Italian pushed Kyrgios to the limit to lose 7-6 (8) 7-6 (8) 6-4.

The controversy
Nick raised the voice during the first set tiebreak to draw the attention of a ball boy (the court was extremely noisy). The umpire gave a warning to Kyrgios that commented “A code violation for saying towel loud? Now I’ve really seen it all. What rules am I breaking?”
After winning the following point, Kyrgios remembered when Djokovic pushed the umpire in Rome without being punished “How can you sit there and give me a code for that? But when Djokovic pushes an umpire out of the way that’s alright? Tell the whole world that’s alright.” Then Kyrgios added “Unbelievable bias man. Unbelievable bias.”
The quarrel sparked the crowd that started booing Kyrgios. The young Australian is still paying for the past mistakes but till when?
Next Kyrgios vs. Sijling
Nick will play the world no. 123 Igor Sijling in the 2nd round. Another straight sets win should be on the way.
