Taylor Fritz shared insights into his US Open semifinal victory against fellow American Frances Tiafoe, crediting a shift in momentum during the fourth set as key. Fritz explained how Tiafoe’s mistakes helped boost his confidence, ultimately leading to his success.

“When he started making those mistakes at the end of the fourth set, it actually probably motivated me a little more,” Fritz revealed. “I was just waiting… I’m drilling balls to his forehand, and he’s whipping me off the court… I was just waiting for the moment.”
