Karolína Muchová, born on August 21, 1996, in Olomouc, Czech Republic, is a professional tennis player known for her versatile and aggressive playing style. She was introduced to tennis at the age of seven by her father, Josef Mucha, a former professional football player. Her mother, Hana Muchová, has also been a supportive figure throughout her career. Growing up, Karolína often played sports with her brother, Filip, who is a professional soccer goalie.

Muchová’s journey in tennis began on the ITF Women’s Circuit in 2013. She quickly made a name for herself with her powerful groundstrokes and exceptional game intelligence. Her breakthrough came at the 2018 US Open, where she defeated world No. 12 Garbiñe Muguruza. This victory marked the beginning of her rise in the tennis world.

In 2019, Muchová moved to Prague to train at the I. ČLTK Prague, which significantly boosted her career. She reached her first major quarterfinal at Wimbledon that year by upsetting world No. 3 Karolína Plíšková. Her performance continued to improve, and in 2021, she reached the semifinals of the Australian Open, defeating world No. 1 Ashleigh Barty.

Muchová’s career reached new heights in 2023 when she made it to the final of the French Open, showcasing her resilience and skill. Despite losing to world No. 1 Iga Świątek in a close match, her performance solidified her status as one of the top players in the world.

It is not clear if Muchova is dating anyone at the moment.

Throughout her career, Muchová has worked with several coaches. As of 2023, she has been training under former Belgian star Emil Miške. His guidance has been instrumental in refining her game and helping her achieve consistent results on the tour.
