Coco Gauff took a break from her US Open title defense to celebrate her best friend, Jamilah Snells, on her 22nd birthday. On August 29, the tennis star shared a series of heartwarming posts on Instagram, filled with cherished memories of their friendship.
Gauff, who has known Snells since childhood, penned several heartfelt messages. In one post, she wrote, “Too many more memories and good times! Thank you for being the best friend a girl could ask for!! Happy 22nd… I love you!!”
She also shared a childhood photo with the caption, “Since day unoooo I love you bestie!!” and in another post, she affectionately wished her “4lyferrrr” a happy birthday.
Snells, a tennis player at the University of Louisville, also plays on the professional circuit, making the friendship between these two athletes even more special.
