Places Leisure Eastleigh has come up with an exciting new plan to improve its sports facilities by adding four padel courts outside. The goal of this project is to make the leisure center’s services bigger so that the community has more chances to be active and have fun.

Padel is a sport that is quickly becoming popular around the world. It combines elements of tennis and squash. The proposed courts will be 20 meters long and 10 meters wide, and they will have an open-sided canopy so that they can be used in all kinds of weather. These courts are made so that both young and old players can use them. They provide a place for social and competitive play, as well as for training and development sessions.

The leisure center already has a lot of great facilities, like tennis courts that are lit up at night, netball courts, five-a-side football areas, and a full-size pitch. This new addition is seen as a big step forward in terms of its facilities. Not only will the new padel courts improve Eastleigh’s sports scene, they will also help the center reach its goal of promoting health and well-being in the community.

The proposal has been sent to the Eastleigh Borough Council, and a meeting with locals is planned to get their thoughts and make sure the project meets the needs of the community. If approved, the courts will be open until 9 PM during the week and until 8 PM on the weekends, giving sports fans plenty of time to enjoy the game.
