As the 2024 US Open kicks off, tennis fans are treated to a unique sight: Jannik Sinner and Flavio Cobolli, two of Italy’s rising stars, practicing together on the courts of the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center.

Now the world no.1, the Italian played his last match on the 19th of August when he overcame world no.20 Francis Tiafoe 7-6(4) 6-2 in the final in Cincinnati to win his 16th career title.
Until now, during this year the Italian achieved a 48-5 match record. Jannik conquered 5 titles in 2024 at the Australian Open, Rotterdam, Miami, Halle and Cincinnati.
He is also scheduled to play in Shanghai (Shanghai Rolex Masters) on the 30th of September and Paris (Rolex Paris Masters) on the 28th of October.
Flavio Cobolli in 2024
Ranked world no.31 (career-high), the Italian played his last match on the 16th of August when he lost to world no.7 Hubert Hurkacz 6-3 3-6 6-1 in the 3rd round in Cincinnati (draw).
During this season the Italian owns a compiled 36-24 match record. Flavio Cobolli’s most significant result of the current year was reaching the final in Washington.
