Genie Bouchard and Nick Saviano had a great partnership in the early days of Genie’s rising. Then as soon as they split things got sideways for the Canadian Beauty who decided to be back with Nick.
Genie will be coached by her hitting partner, Cyril Saulnier, for the next two weeks to be reunited with Nick Saviano soon after. Talking about Nick, Genie commented “I’ve known him since I was 12, and he is almost like a second father figure to me. He’s been coaching me for so many years, so it’s interesting to have taken a break. I have this trust with Nick because we know each other so well and for so long. No one else can duplicate that. I also think he’s really good for me because he knows my game so well.”
Bouchard has just crashed out in the Madrid opener, and she has a dismal 16-9 win-loss record in 2016. The Canadian is now ranked no.46; a big dive from being world no.5 in 2014.
