In the year’s last Grand Slam, Novak Djokovic will have the opportunity to secure two more legendary moments in tennis history as he gets ready to defend his title at the US Open.
After defeating his most recent opponent, Carlos Alcaraz, in the Paris 2024 final earlier this month, Djokovic fulfilled his dream of taking home an Olympic gold medal. Since then, he has taken a break from the game.
Declaring that win to be his greatest accomplishment, he was one step closer to reaching a significant tennis milestone.
Djokovic created an official TikTok account a few weeks ago to connect with his followers and share behind-the-scenes photos of his tennis career. He revealed how he packed his bags and athletic equipment for the journey to New York by doing this a few days before the US Open.
