Greek tennis player Stefanos Tsitsipas appears to have fully utilized his time off the court. Following his early withdrawal from the Cincinnati Masters, Tsitsipas turned to artificial intelligence for assistance in “roasting” him. The 11th seed shared on social media the AI chatbot ChatGPT’s response to his request for a roasting.

Tsitsipas’s ability to share philosophical pearls on social media was humorously highlighted by the chatbot’s response, which also complemented his hairstyle.

The AI chatbot said, according to the tennis player: “Stefanos Tsitsipas: the guy who spends more time philosophizing on Twitter than actually serving up a solid second serve. He’s the only player who can turn a simple changeover into a TED Talk on Greek mythology and still come back to the court with his shoelaces untied. Maybe if he spent less time perfecting his Instagram captions and more time working on his backhand slice, he’d have a few more trophies by now. But hey, at least, his hair game is winning, even if his forehand occasionally forgets what direction it’s supposed to go.”

The 2024 US Open officially begins on Monday, August 26 at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Queens with the men’s and women’s singles first round. Tsitsipas announced on his Instagram Stories on Monday that he had arrived in New York City ahead of the action. The athlete lost in the second round of the competition last year.
