Ashleigh Barty achieved the incredible after becoming the 2nd ever Australian woman to become the world no.1 (after Evonne Goolagong Cawley in 1976) from Monday as she will lead Naomi Osaka for 163 points.

Ashleigh is on a 12-match winning streak after she won back to back the French Open and now Birmingham. After these two tournaments, the Australian conquered the top spot of the rankings also thanks to her runs in Miami (where she won the title), Madrid and Melbourne where she reached the quarters.

Barty is expected to play in Eastbourne this week where she is seeded no.1.
