Excellent tennis in Munich where Philipp Kohlschreiber beats Dominic Thiem in a fascinating final.  Kohlschreiber was extremely solid for the entire match except the decider when he squandered a 5-2 lead; eventually, the third set went to a dramatic breaker that the German won after winning three consecutive points starting from a 4-all scoreline.

This is Philipp 3^rd title in Munich, the 1^st of the year, the 7^th of his great career.

Almost every final is close because both players never give up. They want to win the title. I’ve won the last five finals… now I’ve lost one. It’s no tragedy, especially against Philipp.”
