Too easy for Timea Bacsinszky that demolishes Marina Erakovic 6-2 6-1 in the Rabat final. The Swiss had an extremely smooth ride to end up the formality in just 67 minutes.
Bacsinszky. First time on clay
Even if this wasn’t a major title, Timea was still elated for her accomplishment “Well, it’s a great feeling, and my first win on clay,” she said after the match. “It was an awesome week for me; it was tough at the beginning but I leveled up my game, and I’m really happy about this win. I hope it’ll give me confidence for the rest of the season.”
This is Timea’s 4th career title, the 1st of the season. The Swiss will now head to Madrid where she will face Andrea Petkovic in the first round. No time for celebration.
