The Bulgarian reaches the semifinal in Istanbul after defeating Jiri Vesely 7-6 (1) 6-1 in just 77 minutes. The match ended in the breaker of the first set as Vesely couldn’t cope with the fact that he wasted a 5-2 lead, and he couldn’t convert a set point when he was 5-4 up.

The semifinal vs. Karlovic
Grigor will play the semifinal against Ivo Karlovic that has just won his 2nd match of the season against Granollers 7-6 (2) 6-7 (5) 6-4. Head to head is 2-1 for Ivo, but Dimitrov seems to be the favorite to reach the final.
