In preparation for the US Open, the season’s last major, Novak Djokovic has resumed his training. Cycling has become part of Djokovic’s training regimen, and he made the hilarious comment that the Tour de France is his next destination. Even Slovenian cyclist Tadej Pogacar, a three-time champion, received hilarious warnings from him about it.

Despite having a subpar season in 2024, Djokovic made it to his first final of the year in July at Wimbledon. After finishing behind Carlos Alcaraz, he fought the Spaniard once more in the final of the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris a few weeks later. The gold medal that had eluded the Serb in five attempts was finally his at Roland Garros.

For the last two weeks, he has been enjoying his Olympic victory. In addition to taking a much-needed vacation, the Serb celebrated with his countrymen in the most magnificent of ways.

On the other hand, he plans to defend his title at the New York Major. To return to match fitness, the 24-time Grand Slam champion has started training. In a video he posted on Instagram, he is shown riding with other cyclists and appears to be in good spirits.

Djokovic captioned the video: “Back in training. Setting new goals. Next stop, Tour de France. I’m coming for you, @tadejpogacar.”
