Mansfield Town’s One Call StadiumMans will get a clubhouse and four new padel courts. The plans have been approved.
The new courts will be on an empty piece of land off of Quarry Lane, close to the 3G pitches.
The £1 million project was first shown to the Mansfield District Council by the World Padel Academy (WPA) in November.
The council made sure that there would be safe and covered bike parking as one of the conditions for approving the new development, according to the Local Democracy Reporting Service (LDRS).
The WPA, an organization based in the United Arab Emirates, is spending a total of £10 million to promote the sport in the UK. This project is part of that investment.
This was done because Notts County opened new padel courts at Meadow Lane Stadium in November 2022.
