In the Toronto Masters 1000 tournament, Aryna Sabalenka spoke to the media about her feelings ahead of the event. After a less-than-ideal performance at the previous tournament in Washington following an injury, Sabalenka expressed her happiness to be back.
Surprisingly, Sabalenka revealed that she feels better on clay courts than on hard courts. She explained that the longer rallies and point-building required on clay courts can benefit her physically on hard courts. Sabalenka also emphasized the importance of managing expectations and focusing on her own game to bring her best tennis to each match.
