Good news for people in Lincolnshire who like to play padel! A new location has been chosen to build state-of-the-art padel courts, bringing this quickly growing sport to the area. The new building will be in Lincoln’s Bishops Trade Park, which is a great spot known for being easy to get to and having a lively neighborhood.
Vida del Padel, a company whose goal is to promote and grow the sport of padel in the UK, is in charge of the project. The new location, Unit C4, has a large 10,070 square foot space that is great for multiple courts. The new courts will meet the highest standards for players of all levels because this site was chosen after a long search for the perfect spot.
Ross Carlin, director at Vida del Padel, talked about how excited he was about the project and how Lincoln appeals to a wide range of people. He also talked about the city’s lively shopping and entertainment scene. Two full-size padel courts and the UK’s first singles padel court will be in the new building, so there will be plenty of room for both teams and singles play.
What Ross Carlin said:
“In location terms, Lincoln holds a demographic attraction. Not only does it have a vibrant retail and leisure scene in the city centre, boosted by a university cohort, but there is an advantageous reach of population within a 30 to 45 minute drive.
“While Unit C at Bishops Trade Park scored in terms of customer accessibility and parking too, internally, the layout of the unit also offered us carte blanche to have the padel court layouts we wanted.
Our unit has a really good eaves height for clearance. Padel is, conventionally, a sport played by doubles and so the size of the new premises lends itself to us having two full size padel courts and, in addition, what will be the UK’s first singles padel court.”
The unit at Bishops Trade Park is set up in a way that makes it perfect for padel. The high eaves provide great space for the game. Customers can easily get to the location, and there is plenty of parking, which makes it a great choice for players from all over the area.
With the opening of these new courts, padel in Lincolnshire has reached a major milestone, giving fans a dedicated place to enjoy the sport. When it opens on August 31, the building will be a hub for padel action, drawing players from all over the county.
With these new courts, Lincolnshire is set to become one of the best places in the UK to play padel, bringing together more players and fans. If you’ve played padel before or this is your first time, the new courts in Lincolnshire are sure to be fun and friendly for everyone.
