Another day, another great performance for Rafael Nadal; the Spanish legend defeats his compatriot Albert Montanes in just 67 minutes in he Barcelona 3rd round. Rafa had no problems at all against Albert with the exception of the 3rd game of the first set when he dropped his service soon after breaking Montanes. Eventually, Rafa breezed to grab an easy win (6-2 6-2).

The King of Clay was particularly pleaed wth 1 shot “I started off very well and felt really good. I’m happy about the victory and very happy about the way I played today. I had a great forehand today and the conditions were much better than yesterday.”
Next vs. Fognini
Rafa will have an extremely complicated quarter against Fognini. Rafa doesn’t like to play the Italian with Fabio winning 3 of the last 5 matches.
