After being refused permission to take her kids onto the restaurant’s rooftop, Serena Williams has aimed at a restaurant in Paris. The tennis star carried the Olympic torch as the French city of Paris opened its doors last month.
When Williams arrived in Paris in July for her official duties, she rode a fast boat down the Seine River.
Since the Olympics began, Williams has grabbed the chance to watch a portion of the activity, but on Monday afternoon, she decided to go out for dinner.
She wrote on X: “Yikes, @peninsulaparis. I’ve been denied access to the rooftop to eat in an empty restaurant in nicer places, but never with my kids. Always first. #Olympic2024.”
The 42-year-old received immediate support from tennis fans on the social media site; one user even got in touch with the eatery to make inquiries.
