Osaka considers her quick ascent to fame, her struggles with mental health, and the negative effects of social media on her well-being. She talks about becoming a mother, why she decided to take a sabbatical from tennis to discover who she is outside of the game, and when she plans to pick up the game again.
Throughout the chat, Osaka gives guidance to aspiring athletes and highlights the value of resilience, love, and family.
She expressed her thoughts and said: “After I won my first US Open, I went on social media and, the night after I won, I was doing treatment. And I was just reading a lot of people saying that I didn’t deserve to win. And so, uh God I remember I started crying a lot.”
