Bad news for the Barcelona Open as Ferrer (seed no.3) and Gasquet (seed no.4) are not able to compete because injured. David has to surrender again to an injury to his calf while Richard is struggling with a hernia.
David and Richard have been replaced by lucky losers Renzo Olivo and Edouard Roger-Vasselin.
