Giusy Meloni, an Italian soccer writer, has been well-known in the United States in last year, mostly because of her reporting on AC Milan, the team that Christian Pulisic, a standout player for the United States national team, plays for. Her latest photo release today is probably going to raise her profile even further.
Meloni shared a number of pictures of herself on the beach wearing a white two-piece swimsuit on Instagram on Thursday.
“Grazie Signore che ci hai dato l’estate,” which translates to “Thank you Lord for giving us summer,” is what her caption says.
Fans have complimented the post in both Italian and English. It’s interesting to note that Meloni has previously displayed this bikini; two years ago, she wore it at a beach in Ibiza, Spain, and captioned it, “We will never be this young again.”
Even though it was uploaded two years ago, that older picture has been popular once more this week.
Meloni, who has worked with Italy’s La Domenica Sportiva and covers soccer for DAZN, has undoubtedly had an influence that extends beyond the realm of sports.
Meloni’s profile may have increased even more if Italy’s soccer team—the men’s or women’s—had advanced to the Summer Olympics.
