According to pictures from their vacation together in Sardinia, their love story appears to be going well, but Jannik Sinner and Anna Kalinskaya are having a tough time right now on the court. The Italian tennis player and his Russian partner had to cancel their trips to Wimbledon a few weeks before because of health issues.
Sinner lost the challenge against the Russian player after experiencing a brief fainting spell during the match against Daniil Medvedev. Kalinskaya, on the other hand, experienced a wrist issue. Following a brief trip to the Costa Smeralda, tonsillitis kept Sinner from competing in the Olympics in Paris.
It has been announced in the last few hours that Kalinskaya has withdrawn from the WTA in Washington, D.C.
Kalinskaya announced this news and said: “I’m sorry to miss the tournament this year. Unfortunately, I haven’t recovered from my injury yet and I hope to see you all again soon.”

LWWWWWWWWW Now the world no.1, Jannik played his last match on the 9th of July when he was defeated by world no.5 Daniil Medvedev 6-7(7) 6-4 7-6(4) 2-6 6-3 in the quarter in Wimbledon (draw).
Currently, during this year the Italian achieved an overall 42-4 win-loss record. The Italian has won 4 titles in 2024 at the Australian Open, Rotterdam, Miami and Halle.
Sinner is scheduled to compete next in Montreal (National Bank Open). He will start the tournament from the main draw that will commence on the 5th of August.
Anna Kalinskaya in 2024
Ranked world no.17 (career-high), Anna played her last match on the 8th of July when she had to retire when playing against world no.4 Elena Rybakina in the 4th round and the scoreline was 6-3 3-0 .
Until now, during this year Anna owns a composed 28-13 match record. Anna Kalinskaya’s best achievement of the year was reaching the final in Dubai and Berlin.
