Alexander Zverev downs Robin Haase 6-4 7-5 in the 1^st round in Halle on Monday.

The Match

Sascha had to work hard against the Dutchman. The German sensation managed to win the 1st set after breaking Haase in the 5th game (3-2) before winning 6-4. However, Zverev was 0-3 and 2-5down in the second set before staging a sensational comeback and win 5 consecutive games. The final score was 6-4 7-5.

Zverev fired 12 aces, and he committed 7 double faults; he was battling in converting his break points as he converted only 29%.
