The Croatian wasn’t happy with his performance in the 1st set when he squandered 3 consecutive set points in the breaker (6-3) “It was a very tough match, obviously,” commented Borna. “I didn’t feel confident as I had yet to play a match here, so I was a little nervous. I was extremely happy how I played, but I was a little unlucky in the tie-break when I didn’t play well on the important points. I just have to keep fighting.”
The semi vs. Vesely
Borna will play Jiri Vesely in the semi. The head to head is 1-0 for the Croatian that has defeated Vesely 6-4 6-4 this year in Dubai opener.
