Rafael Nadal is about to enter the most important part the year for his rankings: the clay court season. The ultimate goal would be to conquer the Roland Garros for the 10th time, but Rafa wants to focus on something else right now.
There are 4 important tournaments before
During a recent interview, the King of Clay commented “The goal is to play well, be ready and get better week after week. Tournaments on clay are favorable [to me]. In the past I was going pretty good there. I had the best successes of my career, but these events are tough since the first round.
[The] Roland Garros? It’s far away. Before, there are four very important tournaments. In my career I have done nothing but think day-by-day. That’s the way to realize important things.
Rafa is currently fine-tuning his preparation for the Monte Carlo, a tournament he has won 8 times.
