Tough luck for Belinda Bencic that crashes out in the Charleston opener at the hands of Elena Vesnina. The Swiss was barely able to move because of a back injury. The final result was 6-1 6-1.
Belinda has already retired for a back injury in Miami against Krystina Pliskova.
The Swiss is meant to play the Fed Cup semi-final against the Czech Republic April 16-17, but at this point we are not sure she will be able to compete.
