Why Federer is delighted with his rehab

Roger Federer is ready to be back to competitions.

The world no.3 had to undergo a knee operation soon after the Australian Open and after 2 months he feels fully recovered. The Swiss Legend is training in Monte Carlo where he will kick start his clay court season.

Federer. Why I am happy

During a recent interview, Roger explained why he is happy on how things moved after the operation “Couldn’t be happier how rehab has gone. It’s baby steps. Still at the same time you go from crutches to walking to running to jumping to sprinting. It’s pretty incredible to see the progress I’ve been able to make in a short period of time. I had a great team around me, had great support. It’s nice to be back here, show everybody that it was worthwhile to put in the work.”

Roger will try to win his first title in Monte Carlo. The Swiss has been the runner up 4 times in the Principality: in 3 occasions he lost in the final to Rafael Nadal (2006, 2007 and 2008) and in 2014 he lost in the final to his dear freind Stan Wawrinka.
